In one God, who is God, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. Gen 1 vs. 26; Matt 28 vs 19
The Pre-existence, Virgin Birth, Sinless Life, Atoning Death, Resurrection, Ascension, Post-Tribulation, Pre-Millennial return of our Lord Jesus Christ. Matt 1 vs 23; Isaiah 7 vs 14 & Rev 21 & 22
That man has sinned hence the need to repent and be born again. Rom 2 vs 12; Rom 3 vs 23
That redemption comes through the blood of Jesus only and justification and sanctification of the believer. Matt 26 vs 28; John 6 vs 53-58; Rom 5 vs 8-11; Rev 5 vs 9-10 & Rev 1 vs 5-6.
In water Baptism by Immersion Matt 28:18-20
The Baptism in the Holy Spirit, manifested in new or other tongues. Acts 2:38-39
In the gifts of the Holy Spirit for the edification of the church. 1 Cor 12.
The fruit of the Spirit as in Gal 5:22, as proof of new birth
The church with Apostles, Prophets, Evangelists, Pastors and Teachers complete the body of Christ Ephesians 4 vs 11-16
Resurrection of both believers into eternal life and sinners into eternal judgement Matt 22 vs 29 – 33; Rev 20 vs 4-6; Rev 1 vs 5-6
Commemoration of the Lord’s supper (Holy Communion) 1 Cor 11 vs 23-26
Praying for the sick by laying on of hands, dedication of infants 1 Tim 5 vs 22; James 5 vs 14-18
The giving of tithes and offerings. Mal 3:8-11; Gen 14 vs 20; Num 18 vs 26; Deut 14 vs 22; Matt 23 vs 23; Lk 18 vs 12; Heb 7. Teaching of the principles of giving, tithing and offerings will be ensured and no one should be appointed to leadership if they do not agree, submit to this principle and demonstrate practically by giving, tithing as we want leaders to lead by example.
Marriage-we believe in monogamy. God created one eve for Adam. If God wanted man to have many wives, he could have created many wives for Adam. Although some people in the bible ended up with more than one wife, this is their failure to comply with God’s example of marriage officiated by God in the beginning. We base our understanding and belief on the following chapters found in the bible:
Gen 2:21-24, verse 24 “therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother and shall cleave unto his wife, and they shall be one flesh.” 1 Cor 7:2: nevertheless to avoid fornication, let every man have his own wife and let every woman have her own husband.” Remarriage-a man or woman can remarry when spouse has died. 1 Tim 5:9-10 Providing welfare or support to widows aged 60 and above
